Le Grand Avray Cottage is in a small hamlet, Les Avrays, situated 5 minutes drive from the beautiful river town of Selles Sur Cher. The town has an imposing early Romanesque church and its own chateau, as well as numerous shops, restaurants, and bars and a fantastic boulangerie!

This pretty location is great for peace and relaxation and exploring the wonderful French Chateaux. Also nearby; lakes and rivers with beaches for swimming /water sports, horse riding, zoo, aquarium, outdoor swimming pools.

Selles Sur Cher is well placed for visiting the famous Loire Valley Chateaux in the 'Garden of France'. The area is also superb for the wine trails.

This pretty cottage is set in lovely gardens of just under an acre with terraces to both the front and rear of the property. The garden is very peaceful and private and is fenced and overlooks woodland, pony field to the rear and a vineyard and small green to the front.

Inside the cottage, it has been tastefully furnished to provide a French country feel, providing both comfort and elegance.

There is a spacious kitchen and breakfast table which seats four. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, cooker, dishwasher, microwave. Next to the Kitchen is a separate lounge/diner with a traditonal wood burning fire and french doors leading to a sunny terrace. The downstairs also includes a separate WC, bathroom, a double bedroom and two twin bedrooms (ideal for children). Upstairs there are 2 large bedrooms (with kingsize beds and built in wardrobes) and a further shower room.
